Ripley Solutions required a new, fresh logo design to help build brand awareness and position them among their corporate competitors in the technology solutions industry.
When Ripley Solutions first spoke to us, it was clear that they didn’t need us to come in and reinvent the wheel. Their business was thriving and seen incredible growth in its first four to five years of trading.
Instead, they needed our design and branding expertise to help strengthen the brand name further. When competing with major corporate companies, Ripley Solutions recognised the importance of brand awareness and image perception. While their company may have provided forward-thinking solutions, their logo design didn’t capture the same innovative feel.
They needed one that captured their mission and the advanced work that they do. Not only would the new logo design help them look more professional as a company, but it would also make it clearer for clients to establish the industry they operate in and the services they offer.
The logo design has played a vital role in successfully rebranding Ripley Solutions and providing a platform to continue growing over the next 10 years.
One of the biggest challenges with this logo design project was trying to visually represent a complex industry. To those who are new to the concept of technology solutions, Ripley Solutions’ previous logo wouldn’t have always resonated.
The chosen concept is a cityscape made up of nodes from a circuit board, symbolising the smart connections businesses can make with their communities and a nod to the technology industry in general.
The logo design is clean and simple, as well as bold. It demands attention and assures potential clients that Ripley Solutions are capable of competing with the bigger corporate brands. During the design process, we had to bear in mind that the logo would be used on black and white documents. Therefore, it needed to look just as good in both colour and grayscale.
This is why we produced a logo that isn’t too overcomplicated and doesn’t rely on colour to make an impact. The cityscape image via nodes can work in every colour, while the circle surrounding it provides a sleek border and subtly refers to Ripley Solutions’ well-rounded expertise in the world of technology.
Since sign-off, we’ve created business cards, letterheads, comp slips and LinkedIn banners to showcase the new brand, with a view of producing further promo items like leaflets and banners.
The results have generated several positive comments and an increase in engagement – leading to possible further business.
