As a result, Hickman and Love Limited needed to create a separate area of the business which looked different, but still encompassed the core elements of its origins.

The brief was to create a fresh brand for MidlandsCNC, which incorporated the successful Hickman and Love Limited formula, but also had enough originality to distinguish itself as its own entity.
With their competitors’ website designs and content leaving a lot to be desired, this was a fantastic opportunity to establish MidlandsCNC as the best in the industry.
With not everyone knowing what CNC routing is, MidlandsCNC wanted their website and brand to appeal to existing customers and unique visitors, clearly showcasing what services they have to offer and why their customers should choose them.
As MidlandsCNC is a family business, adding a human element to the website design was the main priority.
This was achieved by using authentic imagery in the background and using an approachable tone of voice with the content. Colour was also a major focal point, as it was important to breathe new life into the MidlandsCNC brand. Combining the vibrancy of orange and clarity of white has given the website a fresh and positive feel. Using Nexa Rust as a font added a playful punch and makes the content easy to read. While the rolling hero images and icons give the website a modern and professional finish.
Since the re-brand and the launch of the new website design, MidlandsCNC has received some phenomenal feedback.
